MC, prior to that, had hitchhiked and was picked up by a female truck driver with a kid. He told her his crazy tale and became close. Later on, once freed after nearly suffocating, the kid tried to take the lady cause she reminded him of his mom. MC uses talk-no-jutsu to get the kid to let her go and they partner up.
